Kurt Hammond joins the eMed team as a founding member with almost three decades leadership experience at the intersection of healthcare and technology.

An expert in Enterprise Healthcare IT software sales, product management and marketing, Kurt has led six medical or healthcare startups to successful exits and been involved in more than 25 mergers and acquisitions in the healthcare market.
Passionate about driving innovation in health technology, Kurt was previously Chief Growth Officer at Halo Health, where he oversaw sales, customer success, product management, marketing and partnership development functions.
Kurt helped expand Merge Healthcare, which became a leader in medical image processing and handling. He managed Merge’s sales and marketing operations until the company’s billion-dollar sale to IBM.

After Merge was integrated into IBM Watson Health, Kurt joined the IBM team as Vice President of Global Sales, and was then promoted to Global Vice President of Partnerships and Business Development.
